About Chiryaghar
Who we are, what we do for Islamabad pet owners, and how we plan to keep the service running honestly.
Last updated 20 October 2026
Chiryaghar (چڑیا گھر, "bird house") helps cat and dog owners in Islamabad find useful pet-care information, relevant local services and, later, a small range of carefully chosen products.
Why we started
Finding good pet care in Islamabad usually means piecing things together from Google Maps, social media and WhatsApp groups. It's hard to tell whether a phone number still works, which services a clinic actually offers, or what a consultation costs. We want to make that first step simpler and more honest.
What we do
- List local providers: vet clinics, independent vets, home visits, grooming, and boarding and daycare. We add a listing only after we've checked its details.
- Show what we know, and when we checked it. Fees and opening hours appear only when they've been confirmed, with the date they were confirmed.
- Make requests easy. You can send an appointment request to a provider and track it with a reference number. The provider confirms directly with you.
- Publish practical guides written for local owners. Health topics are reviewed for accuracy and tell you when to see a vet.
What we don't do
- We don't provide veterinary advice or treatment, and our guides don't replace a vet.
- We don't guarantee a booking. A request isn't an appointment until the provider confirms it.
- We don't invent listings, reviews, prices or ratings, and we don't sell your personal information.
Where we are now
We're starting in Islamabad with a small number of checked providers and will grow only where we can keep the information reliable. Some parts of the site, such as the shop, open later; those pages say so clearly.
How we plan to keep it running
Chiryaghar is free for pet owners. In future, providers may pay for genuine, qualified enquiries or for optional extra features, and we may sell products or earn from clearly disclosed affiliate links. Paid arrangements will never change a listing's verification label. We'll explain any of these on the site before they start.
