How verification works
Exactly what each Chiryaghar listing label means, what we check, and what a label does not mean.

Every listing shows a label that says what we've checked, plus the date fees and opening hours were last confirmed. A listing isn't an endorsement, and a label never covers more than it says.
The labels
These are the labels you'll see, from strongest to weakest.
- Credentials checked
- We reviewed licence or qualification evidence, where the service requires it.
- Contact confirmed
- We reached the business on its listed number. This is not a check of qualifications.
- Under review
- We're checking the details the provider sent us.
- Details submitted
- The provider sent their information. We haven't reviewed it yet.
- Unverified
- Taken from public information. Please confirm details yourself.
What we check
- Contact details: we call or message the business on its listed number or email and confirm we've reached the right business.
- Services, fees and hours: we ask the provider directly. Each fee and set of opening hours shows the date it was confirmed. If we haven't confirmed something, the listing says "Not confirmed yet".
- Credentials, where the service requires them: for veterinary services, we review the licence or qualification evidence the provider sends us. A credentials check confirms the evidence we saw; it isn't an assessment of the quality of care.
What a label doesn't mean
- Contact confirmed is not a check of qualifications. It only means we reached the business.
- No label is a recommendation or a guarantee of the care you'll receive.
- Paying us (if that ever becomes possible for providers) never changes a label.
Keeping listings current
We re-check listings regularly and whenever someone reports a problem. Listings that are inaccurate, misleading or no longer active are paused or removed, and never shown publicly while under that action.
